Built around 1840 and once the towns Post Office, this historic Georgian building has been tastefully renovated while maintaining the character of its era. It's location in the Commercial Hub and Heritage Precinct of the town, as well as being across the road from Callington Mill, has made it an ideal property for a cosy B & B.
Looking out to the wide main street of the village are the two front rooms once used as shops and now set up as a lounge area and breakfast / dining room for guests. The large windows frame the famous mill as well as other lovely sandstone buildings and it's not uncommon to see a horse and cart trot past!
At the back of the building is a dining/sitting room and a kitchen leading out to a wide timber deck with a lovely view over the backyard to the surrounding hills. Upstairs is an attic bedroom with en suite while downstairs is another double bedroom, a sitting room / single bedroom and a bathroom now set up for guest accommodation.
Behind the house is a long yard with a sunny, northerly aspect and lovely established gardens bordered with dry-stone walls. There is a second access at the bottom of the yard giving off-street parking. At the back of the building, there is a store room for garden implements, tools, etc.
